Privacy Policy
Tott · Veratus Games · Last updated 27 September 2026
The short version
- Tott does not collect any personal data.
- There are no Tott accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
- Your progress is saved on your iPhone, not by us.
- Leaderboards, the weekly League and achievements use Apple’s Game Center. Purchases use the App Store. Apple runs both. Tott sends nothing to us.
Who we are
- Tott is made by Veratus Games, a trading name of Veratus Group Limited.
- Veratus Group Limited is a private limited company, company number 17258282.
- Registered in England and Wales. Registered office: Office 7258, 58 Peregrine Road, Ilford IG6 3SZ, United Kingdom.
- Email: sayhello@veratusgames.com
What Tott collects
Nothing. The app:
- never asks for your name, email address, location or your iPhone’s contacts;
- never uses your iPhone’s advertising identifier;
- contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking code;
- shows no tracking prompt, because it does not track you;
- has no servers of its own, so it sends nothing to us.
What is saved on your iPhone
- Your progress: Journey, your Daily results and streak, your best in the Gauntlet, Timed, Math Lit and Pro, the routes you have found, and your beads.
- Your settings, including any reminder time.
- It is kept on your iPhone only. We never receive it.
- Deleting Tott deletes it. We cannot restore it, because we never hold a copy.
Purchases
- Tott Plus (a subscription), Unlock Everything (a one-time purchase) and bead packs are sold through the App Store.
- Apple takes the payment. We never see your card details, your name or your Apple Account.
- Tott uses Apple’s StoreKit, on your iPhone, to ask the App Store what you own.
- Tott has no server, so the answer is never sent to us.
- Restore purchases asks the App Store the same question again. Apple’s own system handles it.
Game Center
- Tott uses Apple’s Game Center for its leaderboards, the weekly League and its achievements.
- Game Center is optional. Tott is fully playable without it.
- If you sign in, Apple’s Game Center handles your sign-in, your scores and your friends, under Apple’s Privacy Policy.
- To show your friends’ scores, iOS may ask whether Tott can see your Game Center friends. You can say no.
- What Tott sends to Game Center, only while you are signed in:
- your scores from ranked runs: Gauntlet boards cleared, Timed stages cleared, and Math Lit and Pro tower points;
- for the Daily’s League board, the number of routes you found on that week’s Dailies;
- the achievements you earn.
- Your League scores are sent only once you have solved 3 Dailies that week.
- It never sends your streak. Practice runs, Build it, and a Timed run with the Extra time setting never send a score.
- Tott sends none of this to us. Tott has no server.
Reminders
- Reminders are off unless you turn them on.
- Your iPhone schedules them itself. Nothing is sent from a server.
Sharing your result
- The Share button opens your iPhone’s share sheet with a short text:
- the puzzle number;
- how many routes you found, as a row of coloured squares;
- a link to Tott on the App Store.
- A finished Math Lit or Pro tower shares a shorter text: the mode, the blocks and the points, with one square per block. It has no link.
- It never includes the board, your answers or anything about you.
- You choose where it goes. Tott does not see where you send it.
If you email us
- We receive your email address and what you write. We use them only to reply to you.
- In Tott, Settings, then About, then Copy diagnostics copies a short technical note to your clipboard:
- the app version and build, the save version, the iOS version, the iPhone model, and the app’s recent notes (errors, and problems saving or loading);
- it contains no name and no identifier. Ids and user names in the notes are blanked out first.
- The app sends nothing. The note reaches us only if you paste it into an email yourself.
Crash reports
- Tott contains no crash-reporting code.
Children
- Tott is made for a general audience.
- It is not directed at children. It is not designed or marketed for them in particular.
- Tott collects no personal data from anyone, so it collects none from children.
Your rights
- UK data protection law (the UK GDPR) gives you rights over your personal data.
- The app holds none of your personal data, so there is nothing in it for us to show you, correct or delete.
- If you have emailed us, you can ask to see those emails, or ask us to delete them. Write to sayhello@veratusgames.com.
- You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

- If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
