This policy explains how the Anagrail app (the "App") handles your information. It applies to the App only.
None. The App does not collect personal data. It contains no advertising, no analytics or telemetry, no third-party tracking SDKs, and does not request your name, email, location, contacts, or device advertising identifier. This is unchanged by the App offering in-app purchases: those are processed by Apple, and no information about them is sent to us.
Your word collection, your run history and your settings — the words you have found and learned, your best scores, which clock you prefer, and your accessibility preferences — are saved locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you delete the App.
Anagrail is fully playable with no network connection. The dictionary and every definition ship inside the App; nothing is fetched while you play.
Anagrail offers optional in-app purchases and no subscription. Everything the game is — every word, every definition, the daily run and every accessibility setting — is free; what is sold is optional items used during casual play.
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. The App never sees, asks for or stores your payment details. It does not receive your name, your Apple Account or any billing information, and no purchase data leaves your device: what you own is recorded in the same local save as your collection, and is removed when you delete the App.
Tapping Restore purchases in the Store asks the App Store for anything permanent you have already bought. That request is made by Apple's own framework; Anagrail neither sends nor receives personal data as part of it.
If you choose to use Game Center, Apple manages your player identity and your place on the leaderboards. Anagrail does not operate its own servers and does not store your information; any data handled by Game Center is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Game Center is optional — the App is fully playable without it.
Anagrail is rated suitable for all ages (4+). Because the App collects no personal data, it does not knowingly collect information from children or anyone else.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
